如果你没有 医疗条件, but are concerned about workplace exposure to the Coronavirus, you have several options depending on your position:

  • Request to temporarily adjust your schedule
Some employees may be required by the 疾病控制中心 和 Prevention guidelines to self-quarantine due to possible exposure of 新型冠状病毒肺炎. 请参考以下内容 scenarios to have a better underst和ing of when self-quarantine needs to occur in addition to healthcare provider recommendations.

If an employee feels fine, not displaying symptoms, but has had close contact with a sick person who has been diagnosed with 新型冠状病毒肺炎, the employee should notify their supervisor immediately.

Supervisors will work with employees to verify if their work can be done remotely. If the employee is provided the opportunity to telework 和 declines to do so, the employee must use 自己的累算假期 or leave without pay.

If an employee contracts or tests positive for 新型冠状病毒肺炎, they are required to use 自己的累算假期. 

Due to school closures or a childcare provider is 因新型冠状病毒肺炎关闭, you may:

  • Use sick leave, compensatory time, vacation leave, 和/or leave without pay if you are unable to work because of lack of childcare.
  • Request to telework (Note: telework may be approved even if you are the primary provider for child(ren) during telework hours).

Whenever possible avoid close contact with people who are sick, 和 frequently clean touched surfaces 和 objects.
